Our Story
From a Small Parish Group to a Global Catholic Movement
The Beginning
Compass Catholic began with a simple but profound idea: God cares about every aspect of our lives, including how we manage money. Founded by Jon and Evelyn Bean, the ministry was born out of a desire to help Catholics align their financial lives with their faith.
Growth & International Expansion
Over the years, what started in one parish grew into a global Catholic ministry. Today, Compass Catholic offers Bible studies and resources, in English and Spanish, serving individuals and families across the United States, Latin America, and Asia.
Today
With the support of volunteers, facilitators, and Catholic leaders worldwide, Compass Catholic Ministries continues to inspire financial freedom and faithful stewardship in the lives of thousands.
Our Team.
Guided by Faith. Committed to Service.

Meet Elizabeth (Lee) Menéndez
Chair of our Board of Directors

Born in the US to Cuban parents, she lives in Pembroke Pines, Fl, with her husband, Jose. She is a certified public accountant.
She is part of St. Edward's Catholic Church in Pembroke Pines since 1996 and there she was the initiator of the Financial Bible Study in English, as her passion has been to teach people to learn to live according to their means.
Invited by Eva Córdova, one of her first participants in that course, she joined the Board of Directors of Compass Católico as Treasurer in 2015 and served as a member of the Strategic Planning and Expansion Committee of that Ministry until 2021.

Meet Fr.Danny Taylor

My name is Fr. Danny Taylor, and I was born and raised in Lexington, KY. In 2013, I obtained a degree in Accounting from the University of Kentucky. However, during my time at the university, I felt a calling to serve the Church, which led me on a different path. In 2014, I became a seminarian for the Diocese of Lexington. I pursued my theological studies and spiritual formation at St. Meinrad Seminary and School of Theology. On June 13th, 2020, I was ordained as a priest. Since my ordination, I have served as a parochial vicar at a variety of parishes and also as a youth minister. Now, I am excited to take on new responsibilities. Beginning in July 2023, I will be serving as a sacramental minister at Holy Spirit Parish-Newman Center in Lexington. In addition, I have been appointed Vocations Director for the Diocese of Lexington.
